Bahkan, orang nomor satu di Bumi Sebimbing Sekundang ini sudah menyampaikan rencananya itu di depan aparatur sipil negara (ASN), termasuk pejabat di lingkungan Pemkab OKU saat acara pisah sambut sekretaris daerah (sekda). “Saya rencana hendak ke Jerman, tapi bukan untuk jalan-jalan. Karena ada undangan dari pihak kementerian,” kata Kuryana.
Kabag Humas dan Protokol Setda OKU, Riduan, melalui Kasubag Dokumentasi dan Peliputan, Dede Fernandes, ketika dikonfirmasi, membenarkan apa yang disampaikan Bupati di depan ASN tersebut. “Kalau tidak salah, Maret mendatang,” katanya.
Kegiatan dalam rangka pameran arkeolog internasional. Keberangkatan Bupati informasinya bersama wakil dari Dinas Pariwisata. Dede menyebut, Kabupaten OKU mendapat surat undangan dari kementerian sekaligus mewakili Sumsel dan Sumatera untuk mengikuti kegiatan semacam expo, berkaitan dengan arkeologi.
“Bila tidak ada halangan, ini akan menjadi kunjungan luar negeri pertama Bupati Kuryana secara kedinasan,” sebutnya.
Terpisah, Kadis Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata OKU, Faisol Ibrahim, ketika dikonfimasi mengatakan, rencana keberangkatan Bupati untuk mengenalkan Gua Harimau. Hanya, untuk pengembangan Gua Harimau, masih
terkendala akses menuju lokasi. “Karena lahannya milik masyarakat, termasuk di kawasan Gua Harimau,” sebut Faisol.
Sesuai aturan, kata dia, pemerintah tidak bisa membangun di lahan yang bukan aset pemerintah. Akan lebih
baik kalau ada masyarakat yang menghibahkan lahan. Minimal untuk akses menuju lokasi situs.
Kasi Promosi Pariwisata, Hj Susiyanti ST mengatakan, dalam kegiatan itu, OKU akan mengikuti semacam expo yang bukan hanya menampilkan bidang arkeologi, melainkan juga bidang
teknologi atau sain dan lainnya. OKU mengenalkan situs Gua Harimau karena sudah diteliti secara nasional. Sekaligus promosikan Sumsel yang menjadi tuan rumah Asian Games.
