SWARNANEWS.CO.ID | Siapa yang peduli dengan fenomena satu ini. Kemacetan panjang di depan sekolah Muhammdiyah simpang Polda ini menjadi pemicu utama kemacetan pokok di jalan protokol Kolonel Burlian. Baik pagi, siang bahkan sore tak pernah luput dari lengang. Pagi saat anak sekolah masuk, siang dan sore saat anak sekolah pulang. Kemacetan tak bisa ditoleransi ini sudah berkarat sejak 10 tahun lalu. Bahkan inisiator utama fly over simpang polda oleh gubernur Sumsel era Syahrial Oesman tak lain u mengurai kemacetan di simpang polda ini.

Tapi apa hendak dikata, sampai era Alex Noerdin hampir berakhir sebagai gubernur dan bertenggernya kembali Harnojoyo sebagai walikota terpilih, belum ada satupun yang siap dan berani memberikan efek jera kepada lembaga atau pihak menyebabkan kemacetan utama. Tak lain tentu lembaga sekolah Muhammdiyah ini. Sudah waktunya duduk bersama antara pihak Muhammadiyah dengan Pemkot, Pemrov untuk berbincang soal kemacetan ini. Sebagai sekolah besar dan lembaga ternama harusnya pihak Muhammadiyah sudah memiliki ruang parkir khusus untuk para wali siswa agar tidak mengantri di badan dan bahu jalan utama milik masyarakat banyak.

Bila tidak ada lahan luas. Sudah waktunya memiliki lokasi parkir bawah tanah gedung Muhammadiyah. Atau jika lembaga menghendaki bisa dilakukan relokasi sebagian besar gedung sekolah agar tidak merugikan banyak pihak lantaran efek kemacetan panjang setiap hari hingga 1 kiloan sepanjang Kolonel Burlian.

Semoga ini bermanfaat bagi banyak pihak agar saling menjemput bola mengurai persoalan ini dan menemukan solusi cerdas.(*)
