Hajah  Eva Susanti sangat berkeinginan melihat kaum perempuan Sumatera Selatan sejahtera dan mandiri. Bisa berpenghasilan menyokong keuangan keluarga bantu para suami melalui usaha rumahan atau berkegerak dengan program  UMKM.

Melihat keinginan yang menohok pada ruang- ruang keluarga inilah seolah persoalan paling penting dalam rumah tangga jadi kisah tak berujung.

“Terenyuh rasanya persoalan ekonomi hampir semua keluarga di masyarakat kita adalah soal keuangan”, ungkap Eva suatu sore di kediamanya jalan Letnan Murod KM 5 Palembang, Senian  (3/9).

Satu- satu alasan nya mengapa ada magnet menarik diri nya untuk maju dalam pencalonan DPD RI.

Istri dari H.Wahyu Sanjaya SE MM adalah tak asing lagi bagi masyarakat Sumsel seorang anggota DPR RI dari Partai Demokrat ini.

“Rasanya tidak salah jika saya nyatakan bahwa tidak semua urusan perempuan bisa di selesaikan oleh kaum laki laki. Ya kalau perempuan sesama perempuan kita bisa pendekatan dari hati ke hati,” imbuhnya.

“Maka dari itu program mensejahterakan kaum perempuan harus lebih digalakan”, ketika ditanya urusan perempuan seperti berjalan di tempat sehingga sentuhan seperti tetap menggantung di awan.

“Ya salah satu cara dengan mempertajam program pelatihan yang sudah ada jadi urusan ini tertata secara sungguh sungguh tidak sebatas program di atas kertas,” lanjut dia.

Ditanya naluri dan nurani anda sangat peka dengan kebijakan apakah anda tamatan dari sekolah atau background tertentu? Eva menuturkan, “saya selepas  SMA dan kuliah semester tiga saya langsung kerja di Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) jadi umur 19 tahun saya udah punya penghasilan sendiri,” kenang Eva.

“Saya bekerja sembari kuliah dan sayangnya kuliah saya terbengkalai untuk bagian ini jangan di contoh ya,” candanya mencairkan suasana.
“Karena saat itu, lanjut dia ” saya kurang bisa membagi waktu ditambah lagi setelah itu saya menikah dan punya anak. Saya ingin mengejar ketinggalan saya dan saya akan melanjut kan kuliah saya kembali,” tekatnya bersemangat .

“Inspirasi saya untuk maju ke perahu DPD, tentunya dari suami tercinta yang sebelumnya sudah berkecimpung di dunia politik”.

“Kebetulan Bapak mertua saya politisi senior di Partai Golkar H Kahar Muzakir, saya sering diajak melihat persoalan bagaimana mereka membangun keperdulian pada masyarakat dan bangsa pada level kebijakan,” bebernya. “Saya merasa terpanggil untuk berbuat lebih lagi untuk masyarakat Sumsel”.

Berbekal pengalaman menemani kesibukan sang suami, putri sang tokoh masyarakat Muba, H.Usman dari Desa Tanah Abang Muba ini sangat aktif dalam Persaudaraan Istri Anggota (PIA) FPD DPR RI terlibat langsung dalam pembinaan berbagai UMKM di Sumatera selatan serta kegiatan sosial lainnya.

Selain Sebagai Ketua Persaudaraan Cindo Palembang (PCP) perkumpulan masyarakat Palembang Jakarta, Ibu dari Fariz Ghazi Sanjaya (15 ) dan Bintang Wisnu Sanjaya (13) masih bisa sempatkan waktunya untuk menjalankan bisnisnya yaitu salon kecantikan Tropical Salon Day and SPA yg berada di Kota Wisata Cibubur dan di Cibubur Country Cikeas. Terakhir wanita cantik nan ramah ini menyampaikan dengan santun, katanya “Kepada masyarakat Sumsel tolong Doakan Saya ya, Semoga niat baik ini diijabah oleh Allah SWT, Aamiin”.
