Herman Deru memuji upaya keras yang dilakukan Walikota Prabumulih dakam menekan lajunya angka kenaikan pasien covid 19 di Kota Prabumulih, terbukti hal tersebut membuahkan hasil dimana saat ini Kota Prabumulih menduduki peringkat 7 daerah yang meratakan kurva.

“Waktu pengajuan Pembatasan sosial berskala Besar (PSBB) kemarin, Prabumulih menduduki rangking II, pak Walikota berupaya keras, setelah SK psbb turun Prabumulih di rangking 7 upaya ini tidak mngkn berhasli tanpa upaya dari seluruh masyarakat Prabumulih,” ungkapnya saat meninjau posko Gugus tugas dan pengarahan kepada Gugus tugas penganggulangan covid 19 di Kota Prabumulih, Kamis (21/5/2020).

Ia juga melihat keseriusan yang begitu luar biasa dari masyarakat Prabumulih, dimana hampir 99% mendekati 100% masyarakat sudah mematuhi memakai  masker.

“Mudah-mudahan kurva ini kurva penurunan, dalam kondisi begini tidak boleh meninggalkan dimensi ekonomi, tetap patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan.

Selama PSBB ini  saya tidak ingin mendengar masyarakat kelaparan, Prabumulih sudah menunjukan keberhasilan menurun jauh rangking ke 7 mudah-mudahan turun lagi,” tambahnya.

Dalam kesempatan ini pula, Herman Deru menghimbau seluruh bupati dan walikota, walaupun telah refocusing dan realokasi tapi azas-azas efisiensi tidak boleh dihilangkan.

“Kita paling sulit menghadapi ini karena tidak tahu batas waktunya kapan, Kalau kita tau batas waktunya kapan jadi kita bisa membuat skemanya, ini kan kita tidak tahu. maka efisien itu paling penting efektif, Kalau psbb ini kan kita menunggu kalau tidak bisa mengatasi masalah pangan, akan Pemprov atasi. Ini karena kinerja yang simultan antara pemerintah, gugus tugas dan rakyatnya sendiri,” pungkasnya. (*)
