SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, BALI | Ajang bergengsi dunia, Vespa World Days 2022 yang diselenggarakan di Pulau Peninsula kawasan The Nusa Dua Bali, 9-12 Juni 2022, juga diikuti para pencinta vespa asal Palembang. Mereka tergabung dalam club vespa Bantoria.
Vespa World Days 2022 (VWD 2022) diikuti 8.500 Pecinta Vespa dari 27 negara, dengan 500 peserta berasal dari luar negeri. Menurut Penasehat Club Vespa Bantoria, Ahmad Rizal, ada 14 orang perwakilan Bantoria Palembang yang ikut VWD. “Tiga orang membawa langsung vespa dari Palembang menuju Bali,” kata dia.
Perjalanan dari Palembang menuju Bali memakan waktu empat hari tiga malam. Sementara sisa vespa lainnya dinaikkan menggunakan truk Towing.
Adapun perwakilan Bantoria Palembang yang mengikuti kegiatan ini, Ketua Bantoria Palembang Antony Thoha, Bambang Hariyanto, Antony Yuzar, Darmawan, Yose Rizal, Edward dan Ismail Hamka. “Mayoritas mereka berprofesi sebagai pengacara, politis, dan lain-lain,” kata Rizal yang mantan Ketua Kadin Sumsel ini.
Vespa Worls Days 2022 berlangsung selama empat hari, yakni 9-12 Juni 2022. Dan selama itu pula Club Vespa Bantoria telah menyusuri berbagai lokasi, seperti riding ke kawasan Ubud, Tegal Alang, Kintamani, Pecatu, Sidemen, dan Cangu.
“Start tim Bantoria dimulai pada Rabu pagi 8 Juni dari Pelabuhan Gilimanuk menuju Denpasar selama 4 jam,” kata Rizal.
Event ini, sambung Rizal, disambut antusias pecinta Vespa tanah air. Pendaftaran dilakukan secara online dan terbatas. Daftarnya rebutan, hanya dalam beberapa hari kuota langsung habis. Dalam pendaftaran, setiap peserta wajib meng-input nama lengkap, SIM, nomor polisi, STNK, nama club vespa, dan vaksin lengkap.
Melihat capaian kesuksesan VWD 2022 ini, pengurus Bantoria berniat membuat even besar di Palembang pada 2023 mendatang. Bantoria berniat mengundang club vespa dari nasional maupun luar negeri. “Semoga nanti bisa terwujud karena bisa menggairahkan wisata Sumsel khususnya Palembang. Apalagi penggemar Vespa beragam. Mulai dari remaja, mahasiswa, pengusaha, hingga pejabat tinggi,” sebut dia.
