SWARNANEWS.CO.ID,LUBUKLINGGAU | Senin,30/1/2023, tragis dan mengejutkan di tengah sorotan kasus besar dan tragedi kemanusiaan yang mencoreng institusi Polri oleh Ferdi Sambo, ternyata aksi kekerasan melawan hukum itu kembali terjadi. Korbannya kali ini seorang wartawan di Kota Lubuklinggau, Sumatera Selatan bernama Adhio Septiawan (Vhio) yang diduga dianiaya oleh oknum Polisi dari kesatuan Brimob.
Peristiwa penganiayaan berat terhadap wartawan yang tergabung dalam organisasi Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) ini menjadi trending topik. Utamanya di Kota Lubuklinggau, Kabupaten Musi Rawas dan Musi Rawas Utara, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.
Senyatanya profesi wartawan atau jurnalis adalah profesi yang terhormat dan mulia. Bahkan pers disebut sebagai pilar ke empat demokrasi sekaligus pembanding tiga pilar kekuasaan eksekutif, legislatif dan yudikatif.
Pers dalam kerjanya sebagai penghimpun dan penyampaian informasi juga mengutamakan kepentingan publik seperti bidang sosial, ekonomi, politik, pendidikan, kesehatan, seni budaya, pariwisata bahkan aspek pertahanan dan keamanan.
Pers juga dilindungi oleh undang – undang Nomkr 40 tahun 1999.
Diketahui peristiwa naas yang menimpa Vhio, bermula saat korban pada Senin (30/01/2023) pukul 01.30 melintas di Jalan Cereme Dalam (red: di Kota Lubuklinggau). Saat itu Wartawan media Pewarta Indonesia ini mendapati aktivitas mencurigakan yaitu keluar masuk kendaraan dan orang, laki-laki dan perempuan di sebuah rumah besar.
Lalu dengan naluri jurnalistiknya Adio Septiawan (Vhio), mengambil foto dan video aktivitas tersebut. Lantas pemilik rumah keluar dan marah-marah.
Kemudian, Vhio pergi meninggalkan lokasi tersebut dan bermaksud untuk pulang ke rumahnya namun berhenti sejenak ke pos perumahan.
Lalu bersama security perumahan pergi ke warung untuk beli rokok, namun dicegat oleh dua orang berpakaian seragam Brimob bersenjata laras panjang dan satu orang pakaian preman, persisnya di depan Masjid Taqwa dekat rumah yang direkam korban.
Saat dicegat, tiga orang diduga anggota Brimob tersebut menanyakan maksud Vhio mengambil foto dan video tersebut.
Selanjutnya, orang tersebut langsung menganiaya korban dengan cara menyeret dan membanting serta memukul korban, bahkan sempat melepaskan tembakan ke udara sebanyak empat kali.
”Tiga orang itu dua orang seragam Brimob bersenjata laras panjang dan satu orang pakaian preman, mereka menyeret, membanting, ada yang nendang, dan memukul, saya dibuat seperti pelaku teroris. Padahal saya menjalankan tugas wartawan karena insting saya mencurigai aktivitas di rumah itu”, terang Vhio.
Hingga korban babak belur mengalami luka di bagian wajah sebelah kiri dan benjol lebam di pelipis mata kiri luka kaki dan luka bagian tangan.
Tak sampai disitu, usai menganiaya, ketiga orang diduga oknum Brimob tersebut memborgol Vhio dan membawa Vhio ke Mapolres Lubuklinggau.
”Sampai di Polres saya tanya kesalahan saya apa dan dasar membawa saya apa, sehingga akhirnya saya disuruh pulang”, kata Vhio.
Menyikapi peristiwa yang menimpa rekan sejawatnya, Ketua PWI Kota Lubuklinggau, Iman Santoso didampingi Sekretaris, Sri Prades , Koordinator Kesejahteraan Wartawan, Fuad dan Penasehat, Agus Hubya Handoyo mengecam keras peristiwa kekerasan terhadap wartawan tersebut.
”Wartawan itu memiliki insting kewartawanannya sendiri, melihat hal-hal yang mencurigakan apalagi tengah malam, tentu tidak ada salahnya Vhio melakukan kegiatan jurnalistiknya, dan perlu diingat wartawan dilindungi Undang-undang pers”, kata Iman.
PWI Lubuklinggau meminta agar Komandan Brimob untuk menindak tegas anggotanya apabila benar yang menganiaya Vhio tersebut adalah anggota Brimob.
Informasi terakhir yang didapatkan awak media ini, Vhio dan penasehat hukumnya, Febri Habibi Asril sedang berada di Mapolres Lubuklinggau untuk melaporkan dugaan penganiayaan tersebut.
”Kita sudah komunikasi dengan Danyon Brimob untuk kasus ini, namun Danyon bilang dia sedang dalam perjalanan ke Palembang”, terang Febri.
Sementara itu, Komandan Batalyon Brimob Pelopor Petanang, hingga berita ini diterbitkan belum memberikan konfirmasi.
