SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, JAKARTA I Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) menyatakan bahwa gabungan koalisi partai politik untuk membangun perahu koalisi Perubahan sudah lengkap. Hal ini disampaikan AHY saat menerima kunjugan Anies Baswedan yang diusung Demokrat di kantor DPP Partai Demokrat, Kamis (2/3) siang.
Sebelumnya pada Rabu (1/3) malam, Majelis Tinggi Partai (MTP) Demokrat melaksanakan rapat dipimpin Ketua MTP, Bapak SBY. Ini merupakan kewenangan yang dimiliki MTP sebagai ketetapan hukum Partai Demokrat, sesuai yang diatur dalam AD/ART Partai Demokrat tahun 2020.
“Karena sejatinya, dengan keputusan MTP PD yang telah diambil tadi malam dan dikonfirmasi hari ini, langsung kepada beliau Bapak Anies Baswedan sebagai calon Presiden yang akan kami usung bersama, ini memberikan kekuatan hukum pada deklarasi Partai Demokrat yang sebelumnya sudah disampaikan kepada publik pada tanggal 26 Januari 2023,” terang AHY.
Dalam pertemuan langsung dengan MTP pagi ini, Anies Baswedan juga berinteraksi, menyampaikan tanggapan, sekaligus menyampaikan visi dan gagasan besarnya, mengapa perubahan itu harus dilakukan. Dan tidak ada waktu yang lebih baik selain melalui kontestasi Pemilu 2024. Menurut AHY, Partai Demokrat menemukan banyak sekali kesamaan cara pandang dan kesamaan tujuan dengan Anies Baswedan.
“Mudah-mudahan silaturahim semacam ini juga semakin memperkuat chemistry diantara keluarga besar Partai Demokrat dengan Bapak Anies Baswedan, juga semakin menguatkan sinergi, kolaborasi,” tutur AHY.
Itulah kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh Partai Demokrat. “Insya Allah kami memiliki kesatuan komando, satu pikiran, satu hati, dan satu tindakan, baik yang terjadi hari ini maupun sampai dengan nanti Pemilu 2024,” imbuhnya.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Anies Baswedan kembali menyampaikan rasa terima kasih atas ketegasan sikap dan dukungan Partai Demokrat terhadap dirinya.
“Hari ini juga, Partai Demokrat kembali menegaskan komitmen untuk berjalan bersama ke depan. Menegaskan sikap (yang tadi sudah disampaikan oleh Mas AHY) atas diskusi, pembahasan yang kita lakukan bersama-sama, di dalam Majelis Tinggi. Dimana menetapkan untuk mengusung kami sebagai calon Presiden untuk Pemilu 2024, bersama partai pengusung lain; Partai NasDem dan PKS,” tutur Anies.
“Izinkan kami menyampaikan keikhlasan, rendah hati, dengan memohon izin, ridho dari Allah SWT, kami menerima amanah besar ini, mengemban amanah besar ini, dan insya Allah kita siap untuk berjalan bersama-sama menuju perubahan dan perbaikan,” ucapnya.
