SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, BANYUASIN – Anggota Komisi V DPR-RI, Ir.H. Ishak Mekki, MM dalam kunjungannya ke Daerah Pemilihan (Dapil) Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) I menghadiri kegiatan Pembekalan dan Uji Kompetensi Tukang Bersertifikat yang dilaksanakan oleh Mitra Kerja Komisi V, Balai Jasa Kontstruksi Wilayah II Palembang. Kehadiran mantan Wakil Gubernur Sumsel di acara yang berlangsung di Balai Desa Lalang Sembawa, Kecamatan Sembawa, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sabtu (10/5-2023) tersebut sekaligus menutup secara resmi kegiatan untuk Angkatan I.
Menurut Kepala Balai Jasa Konstruksi Wilayah II Palembang selaku penyelanggara, Nanan Abidin, kegiatan pembekalan dan uji kompetensi bagi para tukang ini diikuti oleh 200 peserta yang dibagi menjadi dua angkatan. Setiap angkatan mendapat pembekalan secara teori oleh para asesor dan dilaksanakan ujian di hari terakhir kegiatan.
“Bagi para peserta yang lulus dalam ujian, akan mendapat sertifikat sebagai tanda kompeten dan kredibilitas bagi tukang tersebut,” demikian Nanan dalam pengantarnya di acara penutupan Angkatan I.
Anggota Komisi V DPR RI, Ir.H. Ishak Mekki, MM dalam sambutannya di acara itu, menyampaikan, kegiatan pembekalan dan uji sertifikasi kompetensi tenaga kerja konstruksi yang dilaksanakan ini merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan baik secara regional maupun nasional. Dengan bekal yang diperoleh selama acara ini, mantan Bupati OKI dua periode ini yakin bahwa para peserta memperoleh ilmu yang sesuai standar keahliannya.
“Selama ini para tukang hanya memiliki kemampuan secara alami semata, namun dengan bekal yang diperoleh dari para tutor dan asesor di pelatihan ini, saya yakin para tukang akan memiliki kemampuan tambahan dan ilmu-ilmu yang sesuai aturan yang diberlakukan di dunia pertukangan dan konstruksi,” sambut Ishak Mekki ditepuki antusias para peserta.
Ishak menambaahkan, sertifikasi uji kompetensi yang bakal diperoleh peserta nantti, merupakan suatu pengakuan terhadap tenaga kerja yang dengan kompetensi, mempunyai pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap kerja sesuai standar kerja yang dipersyaratkan.
“Uji sertifikasi kompetensi memastikan bahwa tenaga kerja (pemegang sertifikat) ini, terjamin kredibilitasnya terutama dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan yang menjadi tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sesuai dengan kompetensi yang dimiliki,” katanya.
Di akhir sambutannya, Legislator dari Partai Demokrat tersebut menambahkan, persaingan di dunia jasa konstruksi saat ini begitu ketat, sehingga para pekerja, seperti tukang bangunan dituntut memiliki kemampuan dan keahlian yang ditandai dengan sertifikat.
Sebelumnya, Kepala Balai Jasa Konstruksi Wilayah II Palembang selaku penyelanggara, Nanan Abidin menyampaikan, bahwa pembekalan dan uji kompetensi untuk Angkatan II segera berlangsung dengan peserta sebanyak 100 orang yang merupakan perwakilan dari sejumlah desa dalam Kabupaten Banyuasin.
Hadir dalam acara tersebut para Kepala Desa yang warganya turut sebagai peserta pembekalan. Sementara itu, Anggota Komisi V DPR RI didampingi oleh Tenaga Ahli, Heriyanto.ZA, M.Si dan Aknan Khairullah, S.Sy.
