SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, BALI – 245 Pedagang Pasar Rakyat Gianyar mendapatkan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan lewat program CSR dari PT. Inseght yang difasilitasi oleh BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Bali Gianyar.
Kepala Kantor Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Ketenagakerjaan atau BPJAMSOSTEK Cabang Bali Gianyar, Pandu Aria berharap seluruh masyarakat pekerja dapat terdaftar sebagai peserta BPJAMSOSTEK tak terkecuali para pedagang dan profesi lainnya. Pihaknya pun menginginkan 245 orang pedagang Pasar Rakyat Gianyar yang telah ikut program BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dapat menjadi percontohan bagi pedagang pasar tradisional lainnya.
“Harapan kami, seluruh pedagang dapat melanjutkan kepesertaan BPJAMSOSTEK secara mandiri, karena program jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan ini sangat besar manfaatnya,” ujar Pandu di sela-sela membagikan secara simbolis kartu peserta BPJAMSOSTEK untuk 245 pedagang di Pasar Rakyat Gianyar, Kamis (2/11/2023).
Kartu peserta BPJAMSOSTEK tersebut merupakan tanda para pedagang terlindungi program Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK) dan Jaminan Kematian (JKM) yang dibiayai secara mandiri atau kategori Bukan Penerima Upah (BPU) untuk perlindungan pekerja rentan.
“Dengan adanya perlindungan ini, maka segala risiko sosial berupa kecelakaan kerja atau kematian yang menimpa pedagang akan ditanggung oleh BPJAMSOSTEK. Semoga seluruh pekerja, pedagang pasar tradisional lainnya dapat ikut serta pada program BPJAMSOSTEK,” harapnya.
Disebutkannya, dengan hanya membayar iuran sebesar Rp16.800 per bulan, segala risiko sosial yang terkait kecelakaan kerja dan kematian akan ditanggung oleh BPJS Ketenagakerjaan/ BPJAMSOSTEK.
“Untuk para pedagang di pasar ini, ada juga yang tidak bisa menjadi peserta karena faktor batasan usianya sudah melebihi dari persyaratan,” sebut Pandu.
Kedepannya, BPJAMSOSTEK untuk menggarapnya bersama pihak terkait khusus pemerintah dan desa adat. Pihaknya juga akan mencoba berkoordinasi dengan para kepala pasar.
“Yang paling penting adalah pintu masuknya dulu dibukakan, karena kami tidak bisa serta-merta tiba-tiba datang ke pasar kemudian sosialisasi satu per satu ke para pedagang. Kami ini akan memberikan edukasi dan literasi sehingga mereka betul memahami pentingnya program BPJS Ketenagakerjaan,” imbuhnya.
Lebih lanjut, Pandu Aria mengatakan tahun ini merupakan tahunnya BPU (Bukan Penerima Upah), sehingga pihaknya akan fokus melakukan sosialisasi manfaat program kepada pekerja informal. Tentu saja hal ini tidak mudah karena ini menyangkut kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan.
“Kami memiliki tugas untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat pekerja akan pentingnya perlindungan terhadap risiko kerja,” tegas Pandu.
Sementara Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Gianyar, Ida Ayu Surya Adnyani mengapresiasi komitmen BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dalam memberikan perlindungan kepada masyarakat khususnya kepada 245 pedagang di Pasar Rakyat Gianyar mengikuti dua program BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dan juga menyampaikan pentingnya perlindungan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan bagi pekerja informal. Sehingga diharapkan kepada semua pedagang Pasar Gianyar menjadi peserta BPJS Ketenagakerjaan secara mandiri.
Dirinya berharap agar komitmen tersebut disambut para pedagang untuk mendaftarkan diri dalam kepesertaan BPJAMSOSTEK karena masyarakat selama ini khususnya pedagang pasar belum paham betul tentang BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
“Seluruh pekerja harus sadar akan manfaat dari masing-masing program BPJAMSOSTEK. Risiko kita tidak pernah ada yang tahu kapan dan dimana akan terjadi, langkah preventif wajib dilakukan untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan tersebut.
