SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, MUSI BANYUASIN – Sedikitnya lima unit rumah warga di Desa Talang Leban, Kecamatan Batang Hari Leko, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, ludes terbakar, Kamis (15/12/2022) sekitar pukul 17.45 WIB.
Hal ini disebabkan terbakarnya mobil angkutan minyak mentah. Kebakaran ini mengenai lima unit rumah, dan dua unit mobil. Peristiwa ini pun membuat panik warga ditambah api cepat menjalar besar karena tumpahan minyak mentah.
Demikian laporan yang diterima Kapolda Sumsel, Irjen Pol A Rachmad Wibowo SIK melalui Kabid Humas, Kombes Pol Supriadi. Kebakaran ini terjadi di Dusun 1 Desa Talang Leban, Kecamatan Batang Hari Leko, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin.
“Informasi yang kita dapatkan peristiwa ini bermula saat mobil Daihatsu Grand Max Nopol BG 9618 BC, yang mengangkut diduga minyak illegal, mengeluarkan percikan api dari bawah mobil yang dikendarainya,” ujarnya, Jumat (16/12/2022).
Sehingga sopir terkejut dan tidak bisa mengendalikan mobil yang dikendarainya, lalu sopir langsung melompat dari mobil sehingga mobil tersebut langsung oleng dan keluar dari jalan ke pinggir aspal yang tinggi.
Lalu api langsung menyambar minyak yang berada di kendaraan tersebut dan menyambar rumah warga yang ada di sekitar mobil tersebut.
“Api dapat dipadamkan sekitar pukul 22.00 WIB tadi malam. Informasi yang kita terima bahwa api berhasil dipadamkan berkat kesigapan Damkar Pemkab Muba, BPBD Kabupaten Muba, Damkar PT MBI Sei Selabu, dan masyarakat sekitar,” jelasnya.
Selain itu juga dalam proses pemadaman kebakaran yang terjadi semalam Forkopimda, Kapolres Muba, Bupati Muba, dan Dandim 0401 Muba, memimpin proses pemadaman kebakaran.
Sedangkan rumah yang berbakar antara lain milik Marholis (45), Hengki (25), Indra Pendri (35), Herman (50) dan Ahmad (57).
“Untuk saat ini tindakan yang dilakukan anggota kita Subdit Tipiter Dit Reskrimsus Polda Sumsel memback up Unit pidsus Polres Muba mencari keberadaan sopir dan pemilik mobil Daihatsu Grand Max tersebut,” aku dia.
Lanjut dia mengatakan, bahwa dugaan sementara akibat dari kebakaran tersebut tidak ada korban jiwa dan nilai kerugian belum bisa ditaksir. Sedangkan untuk sopir melarikan diri dan saat ini dalam lidik.
“Ini momen kita untuk meningkatkan penegakan hukum, karena belum ada aturan yang melegalkan. Industri ini selain mencemari lingkungan, berbahaya bagi keselamatan jiwa raga dan harta benda manusia, sehingga kita harus melakukan penegakan hukum,” tutupnya. (*)
