SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, PRABUMULIH | dr Muwarni Emasrissa Latifah memastikan Vaksin Covid-19 Sinovac yang didistribusi ke seluruh daerah di Indonesia, dijamin aman digunakan pada manusia.
“Vaksin Covid-19 Sinovac ini telah melalui tahap uji klinis demi memastikan keamanan untuk digunakan pada manusia,” tegas dr Muwarni Emasrissa Latifah, saat menjadi narasumber dalam acara seminar bersama sejumlah awak media. Dengan mengusung tema Vaksin Aman, Masyarakat Sehat, di Cafe Container.
Menurut dokter yang akrab disapa Risa ini, banyak manfaat yang diperoleh setelah dilakukan vaksin di antaranya yakni menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian akibat covid-19, herd immunity. Atau mencapai kekebalan kelompok dalam mencegah dan melindungi kesehatan masyarakat serta menjaga produktivitas dan meminimalkan dampak sosial dan ekonomi.
“Seperti kita ketahui vaksin ini mampu menjaga dan meningkatkan imun tubuh manusia. Dengan demikian diharapkan, melalui vaksin ini kita bisa terhindar dari bahaya virus Corona. Walaupun resiko terhindar dari virus melalui vaksin ini hanya sebesar 65 persen. Tapi setidaknya kekebalan tubuh kita sudah terbentuk dengan dilakukannya vaksin covid-19 jenis Sinovac ini,” ujar Rissa.
Dalam kesempatan itu, dr Risa juga menyampaikan pengalamannya setelah menjalani suntik vaksin Covid-19 Sinovac beberapa waktu lalu. Efek samping yang didapat setelah vaksin adalah merasakan kantuk. Namun menurutnya hal itu adalah suatu kewajaran karena reaksi vaksin pada tubuh manusia.
Di samping itu, suntik Vaksin Covid-19 Sinovac ini berkaitan dengan pembentukan antibodi dan mutasi virus Corona. Sehingga suntik vaksin ini harus dilakukan sebanyak dua kali pada manusia dengan rentang waktu berbeda sesuai dosisnya.
“Satu lagi keuntungan bagi orang yang telah menjalani vaksin Covid-19 Sinovac ini, adalah bebas melakukan perjalanan kemanapun tanpa harus melakukan Rapid tes dan Swab lagi,” beber dara kelahiran Palembang 16 Agustus 1995 itu.
Putri sulung pasangan Ir H Ridho Yahya MM dan Hj Suryanti Ngesti Rahayu ini menjelaskan, dengan telah diresmikannya vaksin Covid-19 Sinovac di Indonesia, maka masyarakat harus secara terus menerus diyakinkan bahwa manfaat vaksinasi jauh lebih besar dari kemungkinan timbulnya reaksi vaksin yang tidak diinginkan. Dengan demikian program pemerintah ini dapat berjalan dengan adanya keyakinan dan kepercayaan serta dukungan penuh dari masyarakat.
“Kenapa harus menggunakan jenis vaksin Sinovac, karena jenis vaksin ini telah memenuhi beberapa faktor uji klinis. Seperti memenuhi unsur aman, efektif, dan mutu. Hal inilah yang menjadi penentu pemerintah memilih vaksin sinovac,” ungkapnya.
Di akhir acara, wanita lulusan Fakultas Kedokteran di Universitas Sriwijaya ini berpesan, agar masyarakata tetap mematuhi dan menjalani protokol kesehatan. Mengingat wabah virus corona dapat menyerang siapa saja yang proses penularannya begitu cepat.
“Sayangi diri sendiri dan orang lain, tetap gunakan masker dan jaga jarak serta mencuci tangan pakai sabun dengan air mengalir. Kita berharap pandemi ini segera berakhir,” tandasnya. (*)
