SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, PALEMBANG | Harga perhiasan emas kadar 24 karat di Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, pada awal Januari 2020 ini melonjak hingga berada di angka Rp4.250.000 per suku atau setara 6,7 gram.
“Sekarang ini harga perhiasan emas 24 karat Rp4,25 juta per suku, naik sekitar Rp250.000 per suku dua bulan terakhir, yang diperdagangkan pada harga Rp4 juta per suku,” kata Riki, seorang pedagang emas di Mal Palembang Trade Center (PTC), Selasa (14/1/2020).
Selain harga perhiasan emas 24 karat, harga logam mulia juga mengalami kenaikan.
Harga logam mulia sekarang ini dijual dengan harga Rp730.000 per gram, padahal bulan sebelumnya berada pada posisi Rp713.000 per gram.
“Pergerakan naik dan turunnya harga perhiasan emas 24 karat dan logam mulia itu dipengaruhi situasi ekonomi dunia yang kurang baik dan melemahnya nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat,” kata Riki.
Pedagang emas lainnya Taslim mengatakan pada kondisi harga emas yang mengalami kenaikan yang cukup tinggi akhir-akhir ini, sedikit mempengaruhi aktivitas jual beli barang berharga itu.
Harga logam mulia maupun emas perhiasan 24 karat jika terus bergerak naik diperkirakan akan mempengaruhi berkurangnya permintaan serta mendorong masyarakat melakukan aksi jual.
“Sekarang ini masyarakat yang melakukan aksi jual emas belum begitu banyak, kemungkinan mereka masih menunggu harga perhiasan emas 24 karat dan logam mulia naik pada posisi harga yang lebih tinggi lagi,” ujar pedagang emas. (*)
