SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, JAKARTA | Wakil Menteri Keuangan Suahasil Nazara menyebutkan bahwa insentif pajak yang telah diberikan kepada para pelaku usaha sektor properti, perlu dikaji ulang terkait dampak dan keefektifannya terhadap kinerja properti.
“Saya sedang menghitung berapa besar nilai pajak yang terasosiasi dengan suatu transaksi properti,” kata Suahasil dalam acara Seminar Property Outlook, Gedung Dhanapala, Jakarta, Rabu (18/12/2019).
Suahasil mengatakan, pertumbuhan properti dalam beberapa tahun belakangan tidak sejalan dengan segala insentif yang telah diberikan oleh pemerintah sehingga perlu adanya evaluasi lebih lanjut. “Saya betul-betul meminta sektor properti mulai bekerja dengan meningkatkan pertumbuhannya,” ujarnya.
Ia mengaku, beberapa waktu lalu bertemu dengan para pengusaha properti di Indonesia dan mengingatkan mereka untuk menaikkan pertumbuhan properti, namun pengusaha itu merasa insentif yang diberikan masih kurang. “Saya ingatkan pemerintah sudah berikan insentif jadi kapan properti naik. Biasa, mereka bilang masih kurang insentifnya,” katanya.
Suahasil menuturkan pemerintah pada 2018 lalu telah memberikan insentif untuk sektor properti sebesar Rp5,7 triliun dan berpotensi naik jika sektor tersebut turut mengalami peningkatan. “Kalau sektor ini tambah cepat maka angka Rp5,7 triliun juga pasti naik dengan sendirinya,” ujarnya.
Insentif itu mencakup peningkatan batasan nilai tidak kena pajak untuk Rumah Sangat Sederhana (RSS), pembebasan Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) untuk korban bencana, penurunan tarif Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) pasal 22 dari 5 persen ke 1 persen, serta insentif PPh dan Pajak Penjualan Atas Barang Mewah (PPnBM) dari Rp10 miliar menjadi Rp30 miliar.
Suahasil menyebutkan, pengkajian ulang terhadap insentif pajak sektor properti itu akan melibatkan pelaku usaha sehingga dapat secara jelas mengetahui terkait tujuan serta keinginan dari mereka sekaligus pemerintah.
“Kita ingin dunia usaha bergerak, seperangkat (insentif) yang sudah dikasih dicek lagi ke usaha apakah berdampak ke lapanga. Namun kita akan terus dan meminta masukan dari dunia usaha,” katanya.
Ia berharap dengan optimalisasi sektor properti yang terus dilakukan oleh pemerintah melalui pemberian insentif dapat menjadi penopang pertumbuhan ekonomi negara di tengah adanya gejolak global. (*)
