SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, JAKARTA | Seorang pelukis internasional yang sudah keliling dunia, Askanadi, ikut pameran seni rupa Rentak Batanghari di Taman Budaya Palembang.
Koordinator pameran, Rudi Marianto, di Palembang, Rabu (13/11/2019) mengatakan pelukis asal Palembang itu, antara lain pernah ikut pameran di Jerman dan Singapura.
Selain itu, keikutsertaan pelukis tersebut diharapkan dapat memotivasi perupa lainnya untuk berkarya.
Apalagi bakat pelukis Sumsel, kata dia, cukup banyak sehingga perlu terus dimotivasi.
Untuk memotivasi tersebut, antara lain melalui pameran yang dilaksanakan Taman Budaya Sriwijaya Jakabaring Palembang.
Pameran Rentak Batanghari diikuti 32 perupa dengani 52 karya seni berasal dari 17 kabupaten dan kota di Sumsel.
Pameran tersebut direncanakan dilaksanakan setiap tahun agar seniman seni rupa di Sumsel semakin banyak.
Selain itu, dengan dilaksanakan pameran tersebut maka generasi penerus lebih mencintai seni.
Kepala UPTD Taman Budaya Sriwijaya Jakabaring, Palembang Thontowi HEP mengatakan, digelarnya pameran tersebut untuk menggemakan karya seni di Sumsel.
Selain pameran, juga dilaksanakan pentas seni daerah yang diikuti antara lain pelajar dan mahasiswa se-Sumsel. (*)
