Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi dan Kapolri Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, meninjau kesiapan angkutan mudik Lebaran moda kereta api di Stasiun Pasar Senen, Jakarta pada Rabu (19/04/2023).
Rivan mengatakan, tinjauan tersebut merupakan bagian upaya pemerintah guna memastikan kesiapan sarana dan prasarana, serta fasilitas penunjang lainnya untuk melayani masyarakat yang hendak mudik Lebaran tahun ini.
“Kesiapan Lebaran 2023 Alhamdulilah semuanya berjalan lancar. Kami terus mengimbau kepada para pemudik untuk selalu mengutamakan kesehatan dan keselamatan, agar mudik menjadi lebih berkesan,” ujar Rivan, di sela kegiatan tersebut.
Rivan mengatakan, bahwa Jasa Raharja bersama kementerian dan instansi terkait terus berupaya memitigasi berbagai risiko yang akan terjadi selama periode mudik
Lebaran tahun ini. Salah satunya menggelar Mudik Bersama BUMN dengan
memberangkatkan puluhan ribu pemudik ke berbagai daerah di Indonesia.
“Selain menggunakan moda transportasi bus dan kapal laut, dalam mudik bersama itu
kami juga menyiapkan 30 rangkaian kereta api. Kita tahu bersama bawa kereta api merupakan salah satu moda transportasi primadona masyarakat. Oleh karena itu,
kesiapan sarana dan prasarana kereta api menjadi salah satu perhatian pemerintah,” tambah Rivan.
Kapolri Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo mengatakan, kereta api merupakan salah satu moda transportasi yang banyak diminati masyarakat karena relatif lebih tepat waktu, bersih, nyaman, dan aman.
“Di sini sudah disiagakan pos pengamanan terpadu, jika masyarakat ada keluhan bisa mengunjungi pos tersebut,” tuturnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Kapolri juga menyampaikan sejumlah upaya yang telah disiapkan untuk menjamin keselamatan, keamanan dan kenyamanan penumpang kereta api. “Antara lain meningkatkan pengawasan gangguan operasional, serta mengantisipasi gangguan sarana dan prasarana dengan menambah petugas,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu dalam arahannya, Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi meminta kepada semua pihak terkait, untuk berkolaborasi memberikan layanan terbaik kepada
masyarakat. “Bapak Presiden Joko Widodo telah memberi arahan kepada kami untuk betul-betul menjaga pelaksanaan arus mudik agar dapat berjalan aman dan berkesan,
dengan melakukan pengecekan langsung ke lapangan,” ujarnya.
Budi mengatakan, dengan adanya peningkatan jumlah pemudik di tahun ini, moda kereta api menjadi solusi tepat dan sarana angkutan yang paling banyak diminati.
“Untuk itu, kita perlu mengambil langkah-langkah strategis untuk memfasilitasi penumpang agar mereka merasa nyaman selama melakukan perjalanan mudik,” imbuhnya.
