SWARNANEWS.CO.ID, PALEMBANG – Sekda Kota Palembang Ratu Dewa menghadiri pembukaan Simulasi Penghitungan Suara. Dalam rangka Persiapan Pemilu Serentak Tahun 2024. Bersama Ketua KPU Republik Indonesia.
Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Depan Rumah Dinas Walikota Palembang Jl. Tasik No. 12 A Palembang, Kamis 27 April 2023
Ketua KPU RI Hasyim Asy’ari di Palembang, mengatakan kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dalam rangka untuk mensimulasikan mencari model penghitungan suara di tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) pada penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024.
“Kegiatan ini juga sebagai salah satu bentuk evaluasi KPU berdasarkan pengalaman pemilu 2019,” kata Hasyim usai pembukaan simulasi penghitungan suara Pemilu 2024.
Ia menjelaskan pada hari pemungutan suara itu pemilih mendapat lima hak memilih, yaitu pemilihan presiden, anggota DPR RI, anggota DPD, anggota DPRD provinsi dan kabupaten/kota.
Berdasarkan Peraturan KPU (PKPU) Nomor 3 Tahun 2019, penghitungan suara harus selesai pada hari yang sama dengan kegiatan pemungutan suara.
Namun, Mahkamah Konstitusi membuat putusan ada ketentuan tersebut yang intinya bagi kelompok panitia pemungutan suara (KPPS) yang penghitungan suaranya belum selesai pada hari pemungutan suara maka dapat lanjutkan atau diteruskan sampai dengan hari berikutnya dan selesai pada jam 12 malam.
“Oleh karena itu kami membuat simulasi dalam rangka kesiapan petugas kemudian model formulir penghitungan suara yang nanti pada akhirnya diambil kebijakan yang nanti akan dijadikan bahan materi muatan dalam KPU tentang pemungutan penghitungan suara di TPS,” jelasnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua KPU Sumsel Amrah Muslimin mengatakan simulasi perhitungan ini ada perbedaan jika dibandingkan Pemilu 2019, dimana KPPS itu hanya melakukan penghitungan suara pada satu panel.
Namun saat ini dipisah menjadi dua panel, setiap KPPS itu beranggotakan tujuh orang yang kemudian dibagi menjadi dua kelompok lagi, kelompok pertama akan menghitung hasil pemungutan suara pemilihan presiden dan anggota, DPD, dan kelompok kedua itu akan menghitung hasil pemungutan suara anggota DPR RI, DPRD provinsi dan kabupaten/kota.
“Hal Ini tentunya akan menghemat waktu penyelesaian penghitungan suara yang diestimasikan kemungkinan paling lambat itu pukul 09.00 malam sudah selesai dan ini lebih cepat jika dibandingkan perhitungan suara pemilu sebelumnya yang memakan waktu hingga subuh,” ucapnya. (*)
